11/2 (Saturday) Start from the Heart: The co-creation workshop on cross-field aesthetics and social-emotional learning concluded successfully. This event specially invites Teacher Chen Baomei from SEL in Taiwan’s Best Me Seeds of Happiness teacher team to lead senior teachers in self-awareness through interactive activities. Teacher Jia Ping from the Primary School Affiliated to Jiuda University shared: "Although there are many familiar faces, through these activities I can get to know another side of the teachers. It is really a good guide to interpersonal awareness." Teacher Baomei said at the end of the lecture Quoting Kant's famous saying: "Beauty is a purposeless happiness", teachers are encouraged to explore and discover the existence of beauty in teaching, and pass this feeling on to students.

Then, project co-host Teacher Jiang Xueying briefly explained the connection between SEL and the art field. Through art creation activities, he led the teachers to create picture books using washi tape. The washi tape cannot be broken but there are no other restrictions. Teacher Lien Sheng of Dazhong Elementary School observed: "After reading everyone's creations, I seem to understand why I was the first to complete it. Some works obviously took design or integrity into consideration. This activity gave me a deeper understanding of my own Creative habits and mood.”

Subsequently, project co-host Chen Yunwen further led everyone to discuss how to integrate emotional learning into cross-domain aesthetic lesson plans. The teachers first conducted a "cross-field aesthetic literacy and social emotional learning link". Through group communication, they discussed each other's lesson plans, carefully examined their own lesson plans to have more observations and awareness, and deepened the integration of art education. , making teaching a comprehensive experience.
