On June 12, we held a "Public Class Observation and Teacher Empowerment Workshop" at Dongyin Primary and Secondary School in Lianjiang County. Participants included project co-host Associate Professor Li Qichang, advisory committee member Kinmen University Professor Li Jintan, and teachers and students of Dongyin Elementary and Secondary Schools. Through course observation and collaborative discussions, we encourage and learn from each other, igniting the spark of cross-field aesthetic education. !
Dongyin Junior High School uses the theme of "Three Views" to connect mathematics, social science and visual arts, teach students the concept of three views, and guide students to use three views to design models and assemble various models. Dongyin Elementary and Secondary School arranges open class observations. The teacher leads the students in the class. Each group of students talks about their creative ideas one by one, so that everyone can better understand the creative idea and implementation process. Many students who participated in the activities said that what they learned most from the course activities was teamwork and increased their interest in learning mathematics.
