The project team conducted the "Penghu County 2012 Cross-field Aesthetic Education Curriculum Promotion Study" at the National Penghu University of Science and Technology on June 28-29, 2012, with the Chenggong and Lockang communities. The project host, Teacher Zhao Huiling, and co-host Li Qichang Teachers, Lin Xiaoyu and Gao Zhenfeng presided over the teacher training committee. Director Zhong Yihui of the General Education Center of the National Penghu University of Science and Technology, Director Deng Zongsheng of the Department of Science Communication of the National Pingtung University, Professors Chen Bingxu and Chen Ruihong of the National Penghu University of Science and Technology, and Lu Youxuan of the Penghu County Education Department Superintendents attended and participated.
On the morning of the first day (6/28), four benchmark and seed schools in the county (National Penghu Advanced Maritime and Fisheries Vocational School, Penghu County Wenguang Junior High School, Penghu County Pengnan Junior High School, Penghu County Magong City Fenghuang School) (National Primary School) to share curriculum and explain results, and conduct comprehensive discussions and exchanges. In the afternoon, the co-hosts, Teacher Lin Xiaoyu and Teacher Li Qichang, presented wonderful cross-disciplinary aesthetic course workshops on the themes of music and performing arts respectively, and then moved outdoors to conduct fruitful workshops in the intertidal zone of Successful Community. An interesting marine cultural experience of "catching fish".
On the morning of the second day (6/29), at the National Penghu University of Science and Technology’s Dream Creation Base, director Wang Zixiang of Pengnan Junior High School and teacher Cai Xinyu of Wenguang Junior High School conducted a practical workshop on the transformation of cross-field aesthetic courses through cultural handmade soaps With the handicrafts of sea waste lighting, we understand the transformation of locality and characteristics of cross-disciplinary aesthetic courses. In the second half of the schedule, we will go to the Lockang community to conduct a cross-field aesthetic survey. Through the Gyotaku experience and the exchange and dialogue with the ocean table, we will learn about the local food and fish culture of Penghu, and at the same time have a dialogue and exchange on ocean culture with experts. , swimming leisurely at the bottom of Penghu Lake brews profound marine cultural aesthetics.
The course activities for two consecutive days were compact and exciting. I am also very grateful to the partner schools for their efforts in cross-domain aesthetic courses and their profound connection with local culture over the years, making Penghu’s cross-domain aesthetic results more distinctive and unique!
