The Cross-Domain Aesthetic Education Project held a "Cross-Domain Aesthetic Study Tour" in Kinmen County from November 6th to 7th. The event was planned by the overall planning team, led by the project host Professor Zhao Huiling, and invited personnel from the Ministry of Education and teachers from 20 outstanding schools to participate. The activity takes the form of a class visit. In addition to observing the special courses of each school and understanding the local culture, it also provides an in-depth experience to understand and share the different cultures of Taiwan.

On the 6th, we used the curriculum observation at Jinning Primary and Secondary School in Kinmen County as the starting point of the trip to learn about the special curriculum developed in different environments and cultural backgrounds. Afterwards, go to the Fujian-style settlements and historic sites in Jincheng Town to view the various architectural styles from the Ming Dynasty to the present, and explain the historical development of Kinmen through the historic sites and landscapes. In the evening, stroll through the small town of Houpu in Jincheng, where you will find yourself in the political and commercial center of Kinmen and visit the bustling scene of the historical district. On the 7th, we visited the Qingtian Hall, a military powerhouse hidden under the Taiwu Mountain in Kinmen, to see the solid appearance of military fortresses on the battlefield, and to understand how the national army developed special tunnel landscapes and life styles in response to the natural environment and political trends. Finally, we went to Gugang Community for a settlement tour, to experience beekeeping and DIY handmade beeswax fragrance tablets. Observe how the residents of Gugang interact with their environment, and how they combine cultural history and ecological education to revitalize the settlement.

The "Cross-Domain Aesthetic Exploration and Class Visiting Tour" adheres to the concept of "continuously going beyond the campus and constantly breaking the boundaries between subjects, campuses and communities". It also explores Taiwan's local characteristics and cultural landscape, and thinks about how to connect different corners of Taiwan due to geographical conditions. , the local characteristic culture bred by ethnic differences is brought back to the cross-field aesthetic classroom. We position this event as a cross-cultural dialogue. The participating teachers have gradually constructed their own cultural perspectives in their respective growth environments. They hope that through this visit, they can understand the culture and battlefield style of Kinmen's southern Fujian hometown, and have connections and dialogues with the familiar Taiwanese southern Fujian culture; from experience Understand cultural differences and conflicts through observation, and reflect on various multicultural issues encountered in the education scene through Kinmen’s immigrants, battlefield military, ecology and other cultures.
