On June 17th (Wednesday), a press conference on the results of the Seed School in Zhumiao District was held at Xinglong Elementary School in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County. The program co-hosted Professor Chen Yunwen, Professor Chen Mengheng from the Department of Music, National Tsinghua University, a teacher-training partner university, and Professor Chen Mengheng from the Department of Early Childhood Education. Professor Liu Shuying attended the seminar and brought together a total of 15 seed schools in the Zhumiao area. The courses presented were diverse and rich, making the participants gain a lot.

Making good use of the ecological department's perspective and local culture courses to integrate the five senses of "seeing, hearing, smell, taste, and touch" is a major feature of the cross-domain aesthetic courses in Zhumiao District. Taiping Elementary School in Guanxi Town, Hsinchu County allows students to use "metal (metalworking), wood (wood art), water (dye art), fire (glass art), earth (ceramic art)" to create creations that respond to the local culture and environment Protection and other issues; Xionglin Junior High School selected Xu Renxiu's "Village Children's Wild Trail" video poetry collection to guide students to rediscover the pulse of Xionglin's four seasons, and through the practice of five senses and imagination, match the vibrant images with suitable music. Focusing on the issue of local stone tigers, Jiaopu Elementary School in Yuanli Town, Miaoli County has developed a series of cross-disciplinary aesthetic teaching plans including board game design, AR video recording, 3D landscape model construction and stone tiger conservation action drama; head Xinyi Elementary School in Fen Town conducts courses with Oriental Beauty Tea as the main theme. Through the four aspects of tea telling, tea knowledge, tea understanding and tea dancing, students can have a deeper understanding of the industry in their hometown.

Another school launches courses from the campus that students are most familiar with, outlining the vision of aesthetic education that "beauty is everywhere, don't seek it from outside". Hsinchu County Neiwan Elementary School's "Exploring Ecological Beauty and Wandering around Meili Bay" curriculum has been revised to integrate cross-field, cross-grade and community educational resources, allowing students to observe the living habits of the resident resident purple thrush and create a three-dimensional comic book; Bamboo East High School uses the concept of learning ecological chain to lead students to perceive the learning field on campus and transform it. Based on the concept of recreating life through art, Wenshan Elementary School in Miaoli City allows students to use pine cones and waste collected on campus to recreate art works and beautify the campus environment.

Some teachers use the needs and well-being of students as the motivation for creating courses, and develop cross-field aesthetic courses that are people-oriented and transcend subject boundaries. A student at Xinkai Elementary School in Dahu Township, Miaoli County encountered learning difficulties during the volume unit in mathematics class, prompting the teacher to develop a cement basin series course, allowing students to learn from making their own cement basins to planting and caring for edible plants, and realize that mathematics is no longer necessary. It's just a calculation formula on paper, but an ability that can be used in life. Although Hsinchu Liujia High School was unable to attend the graduation ceremony, it still prepared a video of the results. Its course guides students to use art media to pay tribute to important others in their lives and implement life education, which is quite touching.

Other schools are also showing us the possibilities for cross-disciplinary beauty courses. Dahu Elementary School in Hsinchu City introduces a sociological perspective into the visual arts curriculum, allowing students to pay attention to the historical context or social issues behind the artists and their works during the Japanese colonial period, and then use physical performances to activate and interpret them; Dawn Girl Central China introduces Chinese language classes Come to life, use paper-cut animation to introduce the origin and story behind the idiom. Xinglong Elementary School in Zhubei City collaborated with the Taipei Civic Wind Ensemble to develop the "Wind Music Kingdom" curriculum, write a story based on the concept of "Wind Music Family", and then film and score the animation. The "Discover Little Jobs" course at Tongguang Elementary School in Houlong Town, Miaoli County cultivates students' scientific and technological thinking and problem-solving abilities through tasks such as dancing and painting, while also enhancing their artistic accomplishment; the course at Yuanli High School It combines music, visual arts, Chinese language, home economics, information and other subjects to guide students step by step to complete the production and performance of musicals from costumes, moves, soundtracks, character dialogues, etc. Although each school has its own difficulties, it is still committed to creating an aesthetic learning experience for students, so that cross-field aesthetic courses continue to be deeply cultivated in Hsinchu and Miaoli.
