Tainan Province Gong Elementary School and Jiali Junior High School start from the ocean issue, from teaching students to understand and distinguish marine debris, to cleaning beaches and creating creations, to combining English, mathematics and music to describe the mood of the ocean and using geometric concepts and rhythm. Create the appearance and melody of the ocean to bring children born in the island country of Taiwan closer to the ocean culture.
Tainan Madou, Wenyuan Elementary School, and Jiufenzi Junior High School have integrated puppetry teaching into the curriculum. Some start from the story of Journey to the West and the history of the Zhenghe period. After teaching children literary classics and Taiwanese history, they use puppetry to perform interpretations. There are also puppetry performances. Combining indigenous issues, connecting Taiwan’s indigenous people to indigenous peoples all over the world, implementing globalization on the ground, and using the art medium of puppetry to allow children to think about scripts and reflect on history, it is quite meaningful!
The school-based courses in Yunjianaan are also amazing. The primary school affiliated to Jiada University used the first and second semesters to pay tribute to Chen Chengbo and Lin Yushan, two masters born in Chiayi; Yunlin Wenchang Elementary School learned about black beans in the lower grades and soy sauce in the middle grades. Production and senior students learn packaging and marketing to promote Xiluo soy sauce; Ruili Elementary School in Chiayi combines language and nature with coffee grown on campus to train children to observe plants and cultivate artistic interests. They also brewed coffee on site for everyone to taste. .
In terms of music and art, Yunjia Nan's curriculum is also quite rich. Yunlin Yuren Elementary School combines picture book teaching and making rain sticks, cardboard drums and other musical instruments for performance; Chiayi Jingzhong Elementary School's curriculum teaches modern architecture that imitates traditional architecture in North China during the Yan period. Comparing it with Taiwan's traditional architecture, combining architectural art and improving students' language skills; Liulin Elementary School asked students to think about their own troubles, record them in imitation of five-character and seven-character quatrains, and draw their own signed poems.
The two high school vocational schools in the finale also showed quite excellent aesthetics. The curriculum of Zhengxin High School was inspired by the fallen leaves on campus. Because the teacher said, "The fallen leaves are beautiful, why do they have to be swept up?" The fallen leaves were reused to make sand paintings, and Chinese poetry creation and layout were added to complete the record. The work of my own youth. Tainan High Tech integrates sheet metal and laser sculpture with seasonal and local imagery to create works with Tainan characteristics, and uses the IG community to share them with everyone.
Overall, the Yunjianan area curriculum has rich topic-based courses, unique school-based courses, out-of-the-door courses that allow students to absorb different knowledge, and combines various disciplines and arts, which truly integrates the cross-disciplinary aesthetic course spirit.
