Hsinchu Zhudong Junior High School and Miaoli High School combine local humanities and industrial development to enable students to gain an in-depth understanding of their hometown and develop an identity with the place. Zhudong Junior High School combines the development of local forestry and plans mountain forest exploration to allow students to understand and maintain forests. It also records the working sites of the elderly and inherits cultural memories; Miaoli High School uses text learning through visual arts, Chinese, social studies and other subjects.
