The Taoyuan District Benchmark and Seed School Curriculum Achievements Sharing Session for the 111th school year was held on June 16 at Taoyuan Ciwen Elementary School. It was hosted by Professor Chen Yunwen, co-host of the project, and included Su Yating, staff member of the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau, and Taoyuan Ciwen Elementary School. President Xiao Lin Peijuan, teacher training committee member Professor Zhang Yushan from the Department of Science and Technology of National Taiwan Normal University, and Professor Shi Lanmei from the Department of History were all present. Although it was a thunderstorm afternoon, it did not affect everyone's lively exchanges and sharing.

Yang Ming Junior High School uses information visualization as the main axis to guide students to start from understanding themselves, learn to transform information about "me" into images, and then extend from themselves to the living environment to further understand and translate the history and culture of Lao Cai; Neili Junior high schools start with reading courses, leading students to understand migrant workers and Southeast Asian culture, music, food, etc., while comparing the differences between Southeast Asia and Taiwan, and finally developing the content they learn into a light and shadow puppet show. Wuling High School combines art history with school-based development to enable students to understand the origin of art development in the school, and at the same time allows students to actually enter the community and understand the historical and cultural development of the community for sketching.

Zhongli Junior High School has launched a series of courses and activities with the theme of understanding the local stories of Zhongli, and has used the local to connect the world, leading students to interact with international friends and sister schools, and communicating local stories with the world; Taoyuan High School uses human rights to The topic is the main axis to develop cross-disciplinary courses on local white horror drama. In a concentric circle method, it starts from personal choice and responsibility, further extends to the community and hometown, and finally hopes to expand to international comparison and care for all mankind.

Dazhong Elementary School starts the curriculum with caring for algae reefs, combining reading and digital courses to allow students to understand algae reefs and care for climate change. On the International Day for Disaster Reduction, students create AR postcards and send them to the world to make their voices heard, so that students can learn about citizen initiatives; Ciwen Guo The small section starts with energy issues, allowing students to explore clean energy and understand the interaction between energy and art. Through artistic creation, it arouses students' care and awareness of green energy, ecological sustainability, and the future environment.

Overall, Taoyuan’s cross-disciplinary aesthetic courses are intertwined with local, environmental, humanistic, and technological aspects. After the meeting, Ciwen Elementary School also allowed participating teachers to experience VR helmets and enter the metaverse created by the teachers and students of the school. We look forward to Taoyuan continuing to launch more exciting cross-domain aesthetic courses!
