In this cross-field aesthetic enhancement workshop, Chen Weiqi, a teacher in the school's mathematics field, was invited to give a lecture on the relationship between "origami" and "geometric solids" for teachers in the fields of mathematics and art.

Teacher Wei Qi extends from the basic concepts of plane geometry to the principles of solid geometry, and then explains the geometric design in real life for us, so that we can have a general and preliminary understanding of the concept of geometry.

In the second half of the course, the instructor used practical lessons to tell us how to use origami art and combination principles to make "flip square cards".

Thoughts and feedback:

The cross-field aesthetic course applied by the school has been implemented for one semester. Last semester, it was mainly plane geometry. This semester, solid geometry was added. The course went through many workshop discussions and preparation of lessons with teachers in the two fields. Talking about the mechanism allows us to understand the implementation direction of the cross-field aesthetics course this semester. I hope it can bring teachers and students in the subject area to be aware of "aesthetics", and can actually apply it and integrate it into the subject. Best The state is that aesthetic elements can be naturally integrated into teaching in all areas of the school.

The empowerment workshop planned by the school starts from the concept of three-dimensional. In addition to being close to the unit of the 9th grade mathematics curriculum, it also allows us to easily experience the practical application of three-dimensional origami. The most important thing is that through the lecturer's explanation, he takes us through a An "amazing" journey.

From this, we can understand the process of origami art transforming a plane into a three-dimensional form, as well as the changes after combination, which is truly brilliant.
