Thoughts and feedback:

Professor Luo first identified who the three beauties were from a 1636 oil painting "The Judgment of Paris" by Rubens located in the National Gallery in London. He had weapons from Athens, a peacock beside Hera, and Venus is followed by Cupid to identify them. Then another painting, The Arnolfini Portrait (The Wedding of Arnolfini) painted by Jan van Eyck in 1434, is used to explain the meaning of the images appearing in the painting. This painting uses reflection to convey symbolic meaning. Mirrors are used to help compose the content and reflect the interior scene, including the four people and the entrance to the bedroom. The pictures of Christ’s Passion and Resurrection in the frame and the rosary beside them reveal the religious spatial meaning. The Christian prayer represents the presence of Christ, while the rosary represents the intercession of the Blessed Mother, thereby transforming the secular place of marriage into a sacred place of religion. Finally, Professor Luo mentioned that there are other compositions in the painting that have their own symbolic meanings, and there is a lot of information available on the Internet. Also because the teacher's introduction made the students want to find out more, they can find more information about the paintings through the Internet. In addition to mythology, religion, history and literature, there is another new idea of the artist, which explains why the creator conceived the characters or objects in the work. Finally, everyone is guided to the website to teach how to make a good art appreciation lesson plan, and then uses the method of questioning to allow students to not only gain something in English learning but also improve students' aesthetic literacy.

After the teacher's explanation, the students have a deeper understanding of the concept of aesthetics, which can be applied in actual teaching. They can use the powerful function of the Internet to absorb information. The key point is to make the recipients also have Only by taking the initiative to explore and guide them rather than giving them directly can students have the ability to actively learn and take it with them. Even after leaving school, they can combine the many knowledge they have learned and develop the ability to actively explore knowledge as they grow. The ability and the spirit of living and learning.
