Penghu Seed School Curriculum Collaboration Meeting and Curriculum Observation

108-1 Penghu Seed School Curriculum Collaboration Meeting was held at the Penghu County Government. The project co-hosts, Associate Professor Li Qichang from National Taiwan University of Arts and Professor Zhuang Minren from National Taichung University of Education, specially invited advisory committee members Professor Qiu Yongfu from Oriental Design Institute and National Penghu University of Science and Technology. Professor Zhong Yihui, Professor Hong Guowei, Professor Li Peifang, principals and teachers of various sub-schools in Penghu, and Su Qichang, director of the Education Department of Penghu County Government, were invited to give guidance and jointly hold a curriculum discussion and research meeting.

Seed School Zhongzheng Elementary School designed the "Meticulous Campus Plant Atlas" course to combine the fields of nature and art; Zhongxing Elementary School took shadow puppetry as the main axis and integrated the Chinese language field and the visual arts field to plan the "Light and Shadow Play - Shadow Play Fun" course, Jibei Elementary School The elementary school has integrated the local Shihu characteristics and exquisite creations to develop the "Poseidon's Necklace - Jibei Shihu" course, which has become an aesthetic cross-disciplinary course with strong Penghu characteristics; In this way, we use the "My Family" and "Grasp Every Second" courses to guide students to integrate mathematical knowledge and enhance their aesthetic abilities; Pennan Junior High School emphasizes activating students' inner experience and understanding of life in the 12-year national education "Aesthetic Literacy" , connect the aesthetics of the environment, and plan the "Interesting" course to guide students to explore the beauty of community life through on-site visits, so as to enhance students' awareness of the beauty of the public realm; Penghu Maritime School uses the local "Begging Turtle Culture" As a theme, it combines courses such as food baking and packaging marketing to cultivate students' craftsmanship.

On the second day, the planning team came to the National Penghu Advanced Maritime and Fisheries Vocational School to observe cross-disciplinary courses. Art teacher Guo Yingjun first introduced Penghu’s traditional "turtle begging culture" and guided the catering students to come up with creative stories, extending from stories to food styling design. Students are interested and engaged in the course.
