The Teacher Training Department of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology handles the training of teachers in secondary schools. It currently has seven full-time teachers (four professors, one distinguished professor, and two associate professors) and one administrative assistant. The teacher training teachers have excellent and active performance in teaching and learning research, and have rich research quantity and quality (SSCI, SCT, TSSCI, EI). In terms of teaching, teachers’ academic expertise covers teacher training, teaching materials and methods, technical and vocational education, curriculum and teaching, special education, psychological consultation, counseling, test evaluation, multimedia teaching, technology education, etc., and is more capable of cultivating students who are in line with the school. Teachers cultivate teachers who follow the motto of education (Tao, Morality, Benevolence and Art).
Yunke Teacher Training currently recruits one class of middle school teachers every year, with a total of thirty-two students. In the 104th academic year, our school has been approved by the Ministry of Education to cultivate design clusters - multimedia design and multimedia application. Currently, it can cultivate a total of 22 subjects (3 common subjects and 19 vocational cluster subjects). The teachers and students are from the second year (inclusive) of the undergraduate department of our university and students from master's and doctoral programs. In addition to teaching and tutoring teachers and students, the center also coordinates educational internships for secondary teachers throughout the school, provides local education guidance, and implements Schweitzer spiritual service plans.
