The school stated that art and Chinese language teachers led students to visit the Jintang Temple and closely observe the cut-and-stick works made by the famous cut-and-stick craftsman He Jinlong in 1928, which decorated the roof, roof, wall and exterior walls of the temple. Through these works that were full of educational significance at the time, the students captured the image of Jian Nian, interpreted and recreated it, and studied the stories of each group of Jian Nian, including historical stories (Zhang Liang's Pick-up of Shoes, Li Bai's Drunken Grass), folk Stories (Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, The Legend of White Snake), romances and opera stories (Xue Dingshan, Nezha), etc. are then interpreted and presented in the form of illustrated newspapers.
