Longshan Elementary School in Qigu District planned a "One Piece" course. Students took a rubber raft to swim in the lagoon, and played Longshan's song "Longing for Hometown" with recorders. The students said that it was the first time they saw the ocean as a performance. The stage feels very different.
Fang Jianliang, principal of Qigu Longshan Elementary School, pointed out that earlier this year, the Ministry of Education was selected into the second phase of the "Interdisciplinary Aesthetic Education Experimental Curriculum Development Plan for Secondary Schools and Elementary Schools" to plan cross-disciplinary thematic courses that combine art, humanities, and Chinese. The teaching content in the fields of mathematics, mathematics and natural science allows all teachers and students in the school to discover the beauty of Qigu from different perspectives.
Since Longshan is a typical fishing village, the One Piece course started with taking a rubber raft to the lagoon. Teachers and students set off on the Longhai. The boat owner Lin Mingde gave a lively explanation and introduced the teachers and students to the seven-gu black pipe, Oyster farming and fishery, etc.
On a whim, the students took out their recorders and played Longshan's Song "Longing for Hometown" composed by the district mayor Zhuang Minghao. The melodious music followed the boat and resounded throughout the lagoon. Even the birds perching nearby also poked their heads in, and then boarded the sandbank. Later, I played some music and experienced a different lagoon scene.
Second-year student Wu Yizhen said that it was her first time to take a boat trip to the lagoon, and the most impressive thing was seeing many different kinds of seabirds. Especially when she heard the humorous and interesting tour explanation by captain Lin Mingde, she felt that she was still unsatisfied. She must bring it with her next time. Come with your parents and enjoy a swim in the lagoon.
