This year’s final lecture workshop was held at National Pingtung University. First, Associate Professor Li Qichang from National Taiwan University of Arts welcomed teachers from Seed School to come from afar to learn about cross-field aesthetic education! In the first morning session, the project co-host, Professor Gao Zhenfeng of Taipei City University, explained the concept of course modules and introduced course cases to provide school teachers with a deeper understanding and inspiration for cross-domain courses. Next came the promotion lecture on the highlights of cross-field aesthetic excellence. Teacher Cai Peigui from the National Kaohsiung Normal University was invited to share the process of cooperation with seed schools and the cross-field learning included in the curatorial cases implemented in the past; the foreign training visit lecture was given by Miaoli Principal Zhong Ruirong of Xinyi Elementary School in the county used her experience in participating in the Japanese delegation to encourage teachers at seed schools to seize application opportunities in the future, expand their international horizons, and implement aesthetic education.

In the afternoon session, Professor Wu Hongyi of National Pingtung University introduced the importance and importance of music in cross-field aesthetic courses from the basic elements of music and the sensibility it brings to the audience. The finale of the performance art cross-disciplinary aesthetic empowerment workshop invited teacher Wang Wanrong from National Tainan University to lead everyone from mutual sharing to discussing local stories, and finally presented memories and reflections about hometown through drama creation.

In the first semester of 2018, the cross-disciplinary aesthetic education project held a lecture workshop in North, Central and South China. In the following semesters, a rich and diverse series of courses will be planned. We look forward to meeting you again next year to learn together!
