In response to the implementation of the 12-year National Basic Education Curriculum and to improve school teachers’ cross-field aesthetic curriculum design capabilities, National Taiwan Normal University undertook the "Cross-field Aesthetic Education Excellence Pilot Project" guided by the Ministry of Education. With the advent of the "Metaverse" teaching trend "Cross-domain Innovation. Cultivating Art to Beauty - 111 Benchmark School and Seed School Swearing Conference" will be held online and remotely from September 27th to 29th. A total of 115 primary and secondary school cooperative schools and nearly 300 teachers participated in making cross-domain beauty bloom everywhere, and started a new phase of the beauty education plan together!
Project host Professor Zhao Huiling from the Department of Fine Arts of National Taiwan Normal University said that since its launch in 2014, the cross-field aesthetic education excellence pilot project has gone through the first three stages of "development", "deep cultivation" and "promotion" and has been implemented in various schools across Taiwan. More than 1,000 cross-domain aesthetic lesson plans have been produced in county, city, national, high schools and primary schools. The new phase of the project has entered the "transformation" stage for the first time, echoing the two highlights of the 108 curriculum "literacy orientation" and "issue integration", and continuing to build cross-domain models. Aesthetic courses.
Wang Shujuan, deputy director of the Department of Teacher Training and Art Education of the Ministry of Education, expressed the hope that the 39 benchmark schools in this conference will serve as leaders in the implementation of cross-field aesthetic courses and connect planning teams, teacher training universities, central and county and city guidance groups with aesthetic resources , providing localized cross-field aesthetic course knowledge. Another 76 seed schools, as well as 18 new schools among them, will also become the cornerstone of the aesthetics curriculum, gradually improving the aesthetics curriculum modules, optimizing the teaching quality and improving students' learning outcomes.
