A total of 27 groups and 12 individuals won the 9th "Ministry of Education Art Education Contribution Award". The award ceremony was held on the 28th at the Nanhai Theater of the National Taiwan Arts Education Center. There were "Lifetime Achievement", "Outstanding Groups" ”, “Excellent Schools”, “Excellent Teaching”, and “Contribution to Activities” and other five major awards. So far, 231 outstanding schools, groups and 19 individuals have won the awards.

The winners of this year's "Lifetime Achievement Award" are director Wang Tong, teacher Chen Zhenghong and curator Huang Cailang. Director Wang Tong is an important filmmaker in the history of Chinese films and one of the pioneers of Taiwanese new films in the 1980s. Director Wang Tong established the only high-tech post-production center in Taiwan's film industry and Taiwan's first Dolby recording studio. By introducing new technologies and methods, he strengthened the cultivation of a new generation of film professionals and greatly promoted the development of Taiwanese films.

In the "Outstanding Schools" award section, each award-winning school promotes arts education in a variety of ways, each with its own unique characteristics.
