A total of 27 groups and 12 individuals won the 9th "Ministry of Education Art Education Contribution Award". The winners of this year's "Lifetime Achievement Award" are director Wang Tong, teacher Chen Zhenghong and curator Huang Cailang. Director Wang Tong is an important filmmaker in the history of Chinese films and one of the pioneers of Taiwanese new films in the 1980s. Director Wang Tong established the only high-tech post-production center in Taiwan's film industry and Taiwan's first Dolby recording studio.
