1. Origin
This cross-regional day study cooperates with the selection of outstanding schools under the overall plan, leading outstanding teachers to go out of the campus to explore the beautiful mountain and sea artistic conception of Taiwan, visit characteristic schools in Taitung and Kinmen, and scenic spots with local characteristics, and observe the cross-border education that combines local characteristics. Domain courses allow you to experience the special local cultures of the two places. Teachers are expected to bring what they see and hear during their travels back to the curriculum, create cross-disciplinary aesthetic courses that combine local culture, and jointly create Taiwan's "mountain and sea artistic mirror."
2. Activity positioning
Continuing the spirit of the overall plan to manage cross-domain day study, in addition to crossing various fields, it also goes beyond the school and into the community. This year, we have invited teachers from 40 outstanding schools. On the basis of cross-regional day study, in addition to understanding the local culture, we will also have a more in-depth and experiential way to understand and empathize with different cultures across Taiwan.
This cross-domain day study, in addition to continuing the previous proposal of constantly going out of campus and constantly breaking the boundaries between subjects and campuses and communities, also digs deeper into Taiwan's local characteristics and humanistic scene, and thinks about how to connect different corners of Taiwan due to geography, The local characteristics born out of ethnic differences are brought back to campus and introduced into the curriculum. Therefore, Taitung and Kinmen were specially selected for this year’s overall planning. The Taitung itinerary was planned based on aboriginal culture. We hope that the participating teachers will break through the concept of Han culture as the main body and understand the culture that also developed in Taiwan from the perspective of the Austronesian ethnic groups. The Kinmen itinerary is based on the culture and battlefield customs of the overseas Chinese in southern Fujian. It is hoped that the participating teachers will have an in-depth understanding of the special southern Fujian culture in Kinmen caused by the geographical conditions and the special political development context based on the Taiwanese southern Fujian culture they were originally familiar with. The battlefield and frontline style.
