In Taiwan, almost no one can say that they have not visited the night market. But for children from outlying islands who live a simple life, night market is an unfamiliar term.
　
Fifteen students from Jiangjun Elementary School, through cross-disciplinary thematic courses, connect art, information and reading courses to build the first night market on Tseung Kwan O Island!
　
Read together from picture books to guide children to experience the lively atmosphere of the night market. Through discussions with teachers, each student becomes a little designer and creates their own night market game! From gashapon machines, tumblers, and pinball machines, they are all made by children using recycled cardboard boxes. Not only that, the night market activities are combined with reading courses, exchanging the "reading points" collected by students into night market chips, while encouraging them to develop good reading habits.
　
Director Chen Yingxuan, teacher Cai Mengcen and Principal Wu Hongyu are all confident in the course. Because of the practice of innovative lesson plans, children have the opportunity to step out of familiar life circles and experience different life experiences. At the same time, we also hope to use this to shorten the interaction between parents and children and make the night light of Jiangjun Island more brilliant!
