After a written review by a selection committee composed of representatives of various learning stages in primary and secondary schools, as well as scholars and experts in arts, subjects, and education courses, the final selection meeting will carefully consider the education stage, urban and rural areas, arts and non-arts subjects, teaching and administration. In terms of experience and other aspects, 60 outstanding teachers who were candidates and 19 candidates were selected to visit three countries: the Netherlands, Japan, and Thailand.

It is hoped that educators in primary and secondary schools participating in aesthetic education-related projects can enhance the international perspective of Taiwanese teachers through international exchange and visit activities, and then guide students to diversify various aesthetic experiences and cultural knowledge, and develop their motivation and enthusiasm for spontaneous and active learning. Develop core competencies and implement aesthetic education for all. After teachers return to their countries, they will share their experience in classrooms and campuses through curriculum development, lectures, workshops and other activities based on their expertise, and even further dialogue and exchanges with communities and society to promote and expand the benefits of international visits.
