The Experimental Primary School Affiliated to the National Taipei University of Education is deeply involved in art education. In recent years, it has joined the Ministry of Education’s Interdisciplinary Aesthetic Education Excellence Pilot Program. Through an aesthetic team composed of teachers from interdisciplinary fields, it guides students to explore, experience and create in the curriculum, improving their Aesthetic literacy. In order to showcase students' learning achievements, the school is currently holding an interactive achievement exhibition of cross-domain aesthetic education, allowing teachers and students to enter the exhibition venue, interact and communicate with the works, and thereby stimulate more imagination and experience of beauty.
Lin Zizhen, a teacher from the cross-domain aesthetic team of Guobei Elementary School, said that this year’s achievement exhibition uses cross-domain aesthetics to present butterflies and bees in the insect world. This is a combination of fourth-grade and fifth-grade Chinese, nature, and mathematics courses and comprehensive activities. Allow students to create in different forms of artistic techniques. Starting from the observation of insects, the lower and middle grades will eventually produce their own works through the process of copying, sketching and designing. Senior students combined maker education to exhibit a variety of laser sculpture works.
Sixth-grade student Zhang Chengrong was very happy that three of her works could be exhibited in the achievement exhibition. Zhang Jirong said that in addition to waiting for the perfect moment to click the shutter when taking pictures, she also spent some time thinking hard about the content of the short poem, hoping that it would have a sense of rhythm and connotation like a children's poem.
