The math and art teachers worked with the students to make geometric lamps, and the chemistry and music teachers worked together to teach the students to write lyrics and compose music. Physics is not just about memorizing formulas and calculations. Miaoli County Xingang Junior High School’s natural and art teachers collaborated to launch a “live-action adaptation of the Angry Birds game”, allowing students to learn physics, mechanics and architectural beauty at the same time, both of which will be on the road next year. The new national education curriculum creates a different curriculum through cross-field teaching!

The Department of Teachers and Arts of the Ministry of Education promoted the "Experimental Curriculum Development Plan for Aesthetic Education in Secondary Schools and Elementary Schools" and commissioned the National Taiwan Normal University to bring together more than 200 cross-field aesthetic teaching curriculum plans from 177 primary and secondary schools across the country. Today at the National Taiwan Normal University The second phase of the "What's This Class" achievement exhibition was held.

Xingang Elementary and Secondary School in Miaoli County launched "HAPPY BIRDS", which adapted the video game Angry Birds into a real-life version. It integrated linear motion and curved motion in physics class to plane motion and oblique throwing motion that introduced trigonometric functions, and added aesthetic elements to become a cross-field aesthetic course. . Director Huang Ruban said that the course is based on "understanding the transformation of kinetic energy" and adopts a teaching cycle of nature and art. There are 8 classes in total. At the beginning, the physics and chemistry teacher used a small poker activity to let the students understand the static force of the second grade. Concepts such as balance (the resultant force is zero and the resultant moment is zero), force (object movement) and torque (physical rotation), combined with the preparatory course for the third grade of junior high school, help students understand Newton's three laws through small experiments such as springs, slingshots, and wooden blocks. The laws of motion and concepts such as conservation of energy and conversion of kinetic energy and potential energy.

After students have the concept of mechanics, Huang Ruban explained that the visual teacher uses multimedia resources to lead students to operate tablets, understand the concepts of the Angry Birds game, and introduce world-famous buildings to learn the computational mechanics and structural aesthetics necessary to construct objects from architecture, and then Divided into attack groups and defense groups, the most special thing is that the students modeled themselves on Greek temples to build giant structure target towers and launch pads in a stacked manner. Also because the twelve-year state education learning model takes students as the main body, the teachers are the inspiration and assistance , students can learn effectively even after playing with it.

In addition, Chiayi County National Dongshi High School combines visual arts, mathematics, and citizenship and society to launch the cross-disciplinary course "Share the Same Boat". Teachers Zhang Shizong, Yang Qiufang, and Lin Yanjun led students to build a life boat with a canoe. As a theme, it connects existential aesthetics, civic aesthetics and ecological aesthetics, so that boat-making is not only a kind of maker education, but also likens a canoe to an individual life. The boat sailing in the sea is like being nurtured by a mother's care, thereby drawing out different Perspective gaze on the land where one grew up.
