The course implementation will be based on the 4C elements of the CLIL course, integrating themed words and thematic sentence patterns, creating a bilingual situation and allowing students to become familiar with classroom and subject-related English. Due to Taiwan's special geographical location and historical background, from the late 16th to the 17th century, Taiwan had large-scale interactions with different regions and ethnic groups, which brought many impacts and influences. The course will introduce the development of art in Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period. Japan brought Western painting concepts to Taiwan, opening up exchanges between Taiwanese art and the world. In addition to introducing Taiwan's artists during the Japanese occupation, it also guides students to explore themselves and think about their future career development.
