Changhua Special Education School─Beauty in Kindness-Connecting the World with Love

The theme of the Changhua Special Education Cross-field Aesthetic Education Pilot Project in the 109th school year is "Beauty in Beauty - Connecting the World with Love". Our school responds to STEP30 "Sewing Good Deeds Together - Donating Sanitary Pads to Love Girls" to send love to Africa international charity activities, from From understanding the plight of underprivileged African girls to making cloth sanitary napkins, cutting cloth materials, sewing, washing and packaging, all teachers, students and faculty collaborated across fields to jointly produce 400 cloth sanitary napkins, and at the same time, they also promoted cherishing blessings and love In the spirit of things, we recycled sanitary napkin fabrics and cartons as materials, and learned the beauty of color, proportion, texture, etc. to create exquisite blessing cards.

Among disadvantaged groups, girls are even more likely to be ignored. Also taking advantage of this publicity event, our school and Changhua Songbai Rotary Club jointly responded to the "Sewing Good Deeds Together - Love Girl Cloth Sanitary Pad Donation" international charity event. In conjunction with the International Day for People with Disabilities, our school held a grand publicity event on December 2 (Wednesday), held a sanitary napkin donation ceremony, and invited students from nearby high school vocational schools to come to school to participate in writing love letters With the blessings of the card, African girls will receive sanitary napkins and love cards filled with blessings. We hope that through our school's "Love Girls" activities, we can arouse everyone's concern and attention to gender equality and life education, and truly achieve the common good of society. Beauty in the Heart - Connecting the world with love, cross-field aesthetic education, in addition to learning the form of beauty, it also matches the social participation of the core competencies of the 12-year National Basic Education Curriculum, cultivating students' moral practice and citizenship awareness and enhancing multiculturalism and international understanding. We hope that students with disabilities can learn about life care, gender equality education, environmental awareness-garbage reduction, fine motor training, and work ability development during the activities. We also take this opportunity to allow students with disabilities to contribute their own Learning results, care for girls in need of help in distant Africa, and at the same time improve teachers and students in our school to establish correct attitudes towards gender equality.
