Changhua County Nei'an Elementary School - Luanshu dresses up in four vibrant colors

1. Origin
Every year from September to early October, the Taiwan Koelreuteria paniculata begins to bloom yellow flowers, which turn reddish-brown when the fruits ripen. The capsules hang on the branches like small lanterns, and some fruits turn dark brown. One tree has multiple colors, so it is also called the "four-color tree." The bright colors of the Taiwan Koelreuteria paniculata make people stop to admire them.
Nei'an Elementary School happens to be located next to the Babao Canal, the "Mother River" of Changhua County. The roadside trees are the Taiwan Koelreuteria paniculata, which is a native and unique tree species in Taiwan. Therefore, the idea was to combine the mother river of Changhua County, the "Babao Canal", and the native tree species of Taiwan, the "Taiwan Koelreuteria paniculata", as the theme, supplemented by the bird and insect ecology on campus as the focus of observation. Based on the above, cross-disciplinary aesthetic education courses will not only promote the all-round development of students, but also closely integrate nature, ecology, humanities and social emotions, cultivate their comprehensive literacy and social responsibility, and lay the foundation for future development.
