Wende Primary School is located in the Bagua Mountains. It takes ecological education as its characteristic school curriculum. In recent years, it has added maker elements and built laser engraving and woodworking classrooms. In order to integrate resources and increase students' aesthetic cultivation, we take the campus ecology as the starting point and the theme of "Literature, Ecology, Art and Emotion" to combine nature, information and art courses to conduct cross-field aesthetic course teaching. The theme is divided into three units: "Making Wende Ecological Book", "Indigo dyeing is so interesting", and "Little Carpenter". The curriculum development concepts of each unit are as follows:
1. Wende Ecological Book Production: Combined with school-based courses, introduce common animals and plants in Guashan Mountain and the campus, and ask students to make a small ecological book. Through the production process from cover design to inner pages, it can not only enhance students' Understanding the campus ecology can also cultivate aesthetic sentiment through the layout and aesthetic design of each page.
2. Cyanotypes are so interesting: Students are asked to use computers and related processes to create cyanotypes of campus life, allowing students to understand the beauty of Wende life from another perspective.
3. Little carpenters: Combined with the woodworking classroom, students are asked to use waste wood to make unique wooden pens. Through this course, students can not only learn the traditional skills of woodworking, but also understand the significance of material recycling.
