Taoyuan City Ciwen Elementary School—Art Exploration (Carbon) Reality

The course focuses on "Carbon - the Source of Warmth", integrating technology and art to inspire children to explore the issues of global warming and climate change from the dual perspectives of science and aesthetics. Through creative activities, cross-disciplinary learning and multi-sensory experiences, students’ understanding of environmental issues is deepened, their sense of social responsibility is inspired, and their emotions, perceptions and thinking abilities are enriched. The course is an adventure of "aesthetics and future thinking" that aims to broaden children's horizons. It is in line with the revised curriculum theme "The Beauty of a Sustainable Earth Opens the Mind and Vision" and conducts in-depth exploration of the core issue of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals SDGs13 Climate Action.
【Art Exploration (Carbon) Reality】Using "carbon" as the entry point, students are introduced to a series of exploration activities centered on "technological empowerment" and "artistic expression". It includes technological innovations such as generative AI art and sensor applications, as well as diverse forms of expression such as theatrical performances, optical illusions and low-carbon food design. We create learning spaces that connect students on multiple levels, from science and art to personal emotions, thereby inspiring their creativity, imagination and motivation for the future.
