Through searching the historical background of the war on the Internet, students are guided on how to organize their own observations or war stories they have read in their daily lives, whether in real life or online, and create a topical monochrome painting to share their feelings. This will enable students to better understand how to collect information, organize, dialectically lay out, share conclusions, and other creations. In addition to searching the historical background of the war in groups on the Internet, we also discussed each other's life experiences such as war events (including disagreements among peers) in school, family, the Internet, and society, or understanding the causes behind the war. Combined with the discussion of life experience (disagreements) on the Tianmu Junior High School campus, we used anti-war TED videos to guide students to explore matters that need to be paid attention to in their creations and the views of artists. In addition to cultivating students' spirit of teamwork and deepening the connection between life perception and self-emotional regulation, we hope that students can use their imagination to create persuasive arguments, so that students can experience how to use their creativity, practice anti-war awareness, and maintain the intention of the peace declaration. They can then organize their own observations and discussions, create paintings and discuss scripts, and express them through words and body language. By combining teachers with expertise in social, language, comprehensive, information, and art fields, we have developed the "Peace and War" STEAM creativity course unit teaching activities. Through cross-disciplinary integrated teaching practices, we hope to provide students with richer and more diverse learning, and integrate creativity into teaching, in line with the "core literacy" of the three major aspects and nine directions of the twelve-year basic national education, which is the spirit of holistic education, so that students can have the knowledge, abilities, and attitudes they should have in order to adapt to current life and face future challenges. Let learning not be limited to subject knowledge and skills, but focus on whether you can find problems in life, propose solutions creatively, and design and implement them carefully and efficiently, so that your life will be more meaningful and you can pursue greater social contributions.
