By using the teaching resources of the local Taitung University to conduct in-depth learning of marine education, it will not only enhance the professionalism of teachers, but also enable students to enhance their awareness of marine conservation.

Students are the main body of learning. Through teachers' teaching design, using marine ecological issues as teaching cases, basic courses and integrated courses, students can feel more responsible for protecting the ecological environment and take actions for environmental sustainability.

Globalization is not a choice, but a fact that needs to be faced. This program combines with the CoralWatch marine citizen scientist activity to help check the health of corals. Through walking, reading, recording and observation, students can experience the current state of the marine environment and establish civic awareness of protecting the ocean.

Teachers prepare across disciplines, break down disciplinary barriers, and design cross-domain integrated teaching courses for topics, so that students can have a professional understanding of comprehensive learning when facing the topic, and strengthen their ability to integrate knowledge and apply it in life. Students learn complete knowledge and apply it in real situations.
