This innovative curriculum program is implemented in middle grades with "Eat Chestnuts" as the course theme. It is designed for third and fourth grade elementary school students. By planting sweet potato leaves, peas and herbs, combined with cross-disciplinary themes such as social emotional learning (SEL) and sustainable development goals (SDGs), students can learn the preciousness of life and the cultivation of morality in practice. Finally, students will demonstrate their learning outcomes in the form of performance tasks.
