Kinmen County Zhongzheng Elementary School - Goldsmith

This course is an aesthetic course developed under the school vision of our school. This course brings together teachers with relevant expertise in the school to lead students to experience metalworking courses that are rarely included in the prescribed curriculum of elementary schools. The courses included all echo the school’s vision of diversity, friendliness and innovation. The planning of the course hopes that students can use the aesthetic concepts they have learned to rethink the campus plants they take for granted. The fourth grade students of our school have basic knowledge about plants, so they are guided to re-observe the beauty of nature through visual aesthetic elements, and then capture plant shapes and use basic metalworking techniques to create art. This course focuses on developing students' multiple senses and increasing their artistic vocabulary so that they can use professional vocabulary to express their own views on beauty, improve their aesthetic literacy, develop their aesthetic sensibility, and finally cultivate cross-domain abilities.
