After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, many infectious diseases have re-emerged, including enterovirus, influenza, norovirus, etc. How to be alert at all times in life and strengthen hand washing and cleaning is an important topic. In addition to general publicity, we combine mineralogy and gemology in earth science to make various simulated gem soaps and place them at various washbasins on campus. The specially shaped soaps can remind teachers and students to wash their hands frequently, and have the meaning of understanding minerals. Different gem soaps can also be found throughout the campus.
The production process can be integrated with community members, and the output results can also be shared with the community.
