This course takes wetland environment as its core theme, combines natural observation, humanistic feelings and creative expression, and is committed to cultivating students' deep understanding and emotional connection with their hometown. Through experiential learning using the five senses, students are able to experience the diversity and natural beauty of the wetlands up close, inspiring their love and care for their hometown. At the same time, the course guides students to explore in depth the richness of wetland ecology and the diverse characteristics of flora and fauna, further cultivate their ability to observe and appreciate nature, and enrich their life experience. In order to enhance cross-disciplinary learning capabilities, the course integrates language learning to help students grasp the gist of the text and write scripts to enhance expression and creativity. In addition, students will collaborate with their peers to plan art activities, use technology and multimedia to create, realize creative ideas and present their results. During the course, students are guided to understand the unique value of their hometown from multiple perspectives and to practice care and action for the environment and society in their lives. It is hoped that through the combination of observation, learning and creation, students will be inspired to become all-round learners with critical thinking, creative thinking and social participation, and inject new energy into the sustainable development of their hometown and the environment.
