In the process of teaching music classes and performing arts classes in high schools (vocational schools) and setting up compulsory courses for performing arts, the author felt that in the past few years, students felt unfamiliar and distant from classical music in textbooks, so I started from the spirit of the 108 curriculum "Spontaneous" ”, “Interaction” and “Sharing Good Things” have opened up the possibility for co-teachers to combine classical music with performing arts. In the unit of the second volume of music: among the composers of the "National Music School" and "Romantic Music School", some pieces are inspired by Shakespeare's plays. Therefore, when preparing together, the team of teachers selected one of Shakespeare's four major comedies. "Twelfth Night" is used as the main axis of the course to develop cross-field course modules, and is combined with the final performance and competition of play reading to allow students to actually participate in team interaction and cooperation.
Thematic learning allows students to try to break the rigidity and limitations of knowledge divisions and reinterpret the appearance of learning. In this course module, Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" is used as the main course, and the team's co-teachers focus on one or two extended themes, such as: "Shakespeare's Life" and "Iraq" with historical themes. "The Golden Age of the Elizabethan Dynasty"; art course-themed "Renaissance Costume Design" and "Fashionable Dressing of Shakespeare's Protagonists"; English courses-based "Twelfth Night Play Reading Practice" and "Reading "Positioning practice for drama presentation"; "Introduction to shooting techniques for cross-disciplinary aesthetic project pilot films" and "Group implementation of Foley sound effects" with the theme of physics courses. The music course that runs through it is based on the theme of "Shakespeare's Musician Fans", which introduces related musical works in sequence, and allows students to use the musical works introduced in the lesson plan as examples when presenting in the final drama reading competition. The soundtrack further enhances the dramatic tension and atmosphere in the script on the stage.
