There is a close relationship between local festivals and local languages, because local festivals are usually traditional activities celebrated by a community or region, and these activities often involve local language, culture and history. Indigenous language is one of the most important elements of local festivals, as it is an important carrier of the culture and history of a community or region. The Miaoli Dragon Festival is the main core activity of the Lantern Festival in Miaoli County, Taiwan. It evolved from the Dragon Welcome Celebration in the Miaoli area. It is a very lively and exciting Lantern Festival celebration to welcome the New Year. Later, the dragon dance was transformed into "Welcome the Dragon". ” activity, hoping to use the dragon to bring auspiciousness, bring peace and prosperity to the people, and a good harvest. Miaoli 𪹚Dragon Seven Steps has turned Miaoli City into a museum of Hakka life. Therefore, we hope that through curriculum design, students can enter the festival, see the Hakka, integrate the language, and enter the history.
