Taoyuan City Dazhong Elementary School—Yulan Carbon Elephant Dances

Climate anomalies have caused extreme weather conditions around the world, and Taiwan has also suffered greatly. This teaching plan integrates SDGs climate action, guiding students to find the main causes of warming through digital reading, integrating data, and using X-mind or the website to draw mind maps and pie charts to conduct topic research reports. After the students reach a consensus, they search the website to find feasible small things and natural basic solutions, and conduct in-depth reading and learning. Finally, through citizen action initiatives, postcards are sent to relevant research centers, communities, cities and countries to assume the civic responsibility of international care. Through actions, we raise awareness of the climate crisis, call for active participation in climate transformation, and jointly face the challenges of climate change.
