Taoyuan City Ruitang Elementary School─Artistic Three Kingdoms

Being able to feel beauty in life and be able to observe life situations in detail is the only way to implement aesthetic education. The "Empty City Plan" in the Chinese class is a classic literary theme and one of the sixth grade Chinese texts. The course design uses this as the theme of texts and stories, and takes the experience of differences and emotional changes in situations as the main axis of the course. Texts in literature allow students to appreciate the emotional changes of scenes and characters, and serve as the starting point of the course to experience the feelings and atmosphere of different characters. Using musical elements as materials, students can feel the emotions that different music can exude, and convert them into written records, which once again strengthens the different feelings brought by the scene and can be expressed through different media.

By learning the medium of digital tablets, students can understand the relationship between emotions and situations, use digital music as a platform for expression and creation, and present unique works, allowing music, emotions, and situations to interact with each other. Finally, the performance course is used as the summary of curriculum integration. In the performance course, students once again feel the atmosphere of different characters and scenes, and use different media—words, music, and body movements—to convey the feeling of situations and emotions flowing through music. In a spiral way, students can appreciate the emotional changes of scenes and characters, as well as the atmosphere in music and performances. Expressions of artistic conception and emotion are conveyed through different media, allowing students to savor the changes in situations, emotions and musical feelings from different fields.
