Our cross-disciplinary aesthetic education course - "Beautiful Dreams", hopes to cultivate students' knowledge and understanding of ethnic culture, and is designed to cover nature and life technology, local languages, arts and humanities. Our school is located in a remote school on the edge of Yuli Town, Southern District, Hualien County. Due to factors of Chineseization and Westernization, Aboriginal students have less understanding of their own culture. If we can use diversified Aboriginal curriculum planning directions, teachers can develop more appropriate Provide relevant and diversified teaching materials and courses so that Aboriginal children can inherit ethnic culture through learning.
This course is implemented for the "Beautiful Yuanmeng" ethnic drama course for grades 3-6, and through the food and agriculture education of the Aboriginal community and the Yuxi Farmers Association, the aboriginal wild vegetables and their characteristics (roots, stems, leaves) are introduced to all students in the school. , flowers, fruits) and their uses, and invite nature teachers and ethnic language teachers to let students understand the culture of Aboriginal ritual wine and traditional plant dyeing (cloth). Finally, through a series of arts and humanities course planning, the "Beautiful Yuanmeng" ethnic drama performance was arranged when the international students from National Taiwan University visited the school in December as a platform for them to understand Hualien and indigenous culture.
