Geometric figures are a common form of mathematics in life, and the ancient Greeks already knew how to use rulers and compasses to solve various geometric problems; at the same time, circles, straight lines and curves are commonly used creative elements in visual arts, such as Modern art schools such as minimalism and maximalism use the combination of circles and straight lines to carefully design works. This course hopes that students can understand how geometric mathematics complements art from the line structure in visual art, and then use basic drawing tools such as compasses and rulers to design their own geometric works.
