Jakarta Taiwan School - Yiqi in Indonesia

The "Yiqi in Indonesia" course takes Indonesian traditional music and Indonesian batik techniques as its two main themes, combining language courses, social courses and natural courses, with art as the guiding and integrated course. Inspired by Indonesian traditional art and combined with courses on ethnicity, humanities, language, and nature, students can gain a deeper understanding of Indonesian ethnic culture, art, and literary beauty, and gradually build up cross-disciplinary aesthetics and historical perspectives. In this course, students will also practice and perform traditional Indonesian music and batik techniques to enrich their aesthetic literacy and expand it to life, so that they can observe the existence of beauty and develop local and international perspectives.
