1. Nature has given many gifts to Xiulin students. Through different art creation courses, natural materials are added, and the students can observe the surrounding plants more, identify the plants on campus, and collect plant leaves suitable for handmade paper and hammer dyeing.
2. Through cross-disciplinary course arrangements, students can learn more about traditional Hakka indigo dyeing culture and experience the indigo dyeing production process.
3. Understand the methods of indigo dyeing pattern design and be able to create art through tying techniques, understand the principles of plant dyeing, and make good use of ecological resources to create a circular economy to enrich our lives.
4. In line with item 12 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promote green economy and ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. Through these courses, we hope to help students learn to cherish the resources at hand and not waste them.
5. Decorate campus corners with indigo-dyed fabrics created by combining natural fields, artistic fields and environmental issues.
