Chiayi County Shuishang Elementary School─My home in the beautiful fishing town

The content of this course is designed with music chorus education as the main theme. It combines marine education issues and existing social courses to allow students to explore the current status and future of Chiayi County’s fishery industry resources. At the same time, through local language courses, students can learn through proverbs , absorbing the ancient wisdom of fishermen and understanding the beauty of coastal fishing culture and local slang for hundreds of years. It is hoped that through this cross-disciplinary aesthetic education course design, a unique marine education course that belongs to Chiayi County’s local intellectual sensibilities and aesthetics can be developed. , enhance students’ understanding of local history, geography, nature, language and art, and then cultivate the ability to actively observe, explore, think and solve local issues.
