This project is a cross-disciplinary course that is expected to last for one year and will be implemented for fourth grade elementary school students. The course theme is based on the study of local people and industry groups of "Pingtung Hundred Craftsmen", and art and aesthetics are used as the basis of the course.
"记" means narration and memory. Students use interviews and special research to record and preserve the beauty of urban and rural development, as well as the aesthetics of architecture and industry that are closely related to them.
"Yi" means art and skill. Students acquire artistic abilities, broaden their aesthetic vision, and promote the beauty of local people and things in practical courses.
"Zhan" means action and development. Students should not only learn knowledge, but also step out of the campus, solve problems in practice, understand the affairs of their hometown, and do their best to practice and promote the affairs of their hometown.
The "Arts of Recording" exhibition is not just a performance, but a connection and display of students' cross-disciplinary learning throughout the year. The following is a brief description of the learning content of each field:
1. Social field: Learn about Pingtung’s local culture and industrial development in the hometown course unit, and conduct community surveys.
2. Revising courses and reading classes: qualitative research, digital reading literacy and literature integration.
3. Art field: character roles and pantomime, visual modeling design and reproduction, industry and store aesthetic design, curatorial practice, AI music, character video shooting and editing, and dynamic performances.
4. Language and Literature: Learn to interview people, organize interview transcripts, write poems about people, and organize introduction copy.
5. Comprehensive areas: learning and career exploration, gender equality issues, SDGs, and social emotional learning (SEL).
This course hopes to use the people and things around us in life as a learning context, expand our life skills, and put aesthetic views and perspectives into practice in daily life.
