Changhua County Shetou Elementary School─Guava Events

The largest agricultural product in Shetou is guava. Not only does the planting area in the township rank first in the country, but the work of many parents in the school district is directly or indirectly related to guava. However, students don’t know much about the agricultural products in their hometown. This semester’s courses continue the course concept of the previous semester and are connected with the local industry in their hometown. Therefore, I chose guava as the theme. I used picture books to learn about guava in the natural world. I then applied the concepts I learned in words to create poems and paintings. Then I combined it with healthy eating to create a fruit dance. Finally, I collaborated in a group to create fruit shapes. Tree.
