New Taipei City Xinghua Elementary School─It’s hard to leave homeland

Xinghua Elementary School is located at the foot of Yangmingshan Mountain. In such an environment, it is often filled with smoke, adding a mysterious veil to the school. It is precisely because of the weather in Sanzhi that "soil" may have many different roles in the hearts of Xinghua children. It may be the soil used by grandparents to grow vegetables, it may be the cement and sand used in building houses, or it may be their father. Control the materials of the kiln together during leisure time... Earth creates plant life, which is as important to human beings as water. In addition, Xinghua Elementary School happens to be located in the Yangmingshan volcano group. The magma once flowed from Xinghua Elementary School into the sea, leaving many traces of volcanic rocks in Xinghua Elementary School. Therefore, we want to start from the special geographical environment. Although we can see and touch the land that we step on every day, we rarely have the opportunity to stop and get to know it properly. Xinghua's cross-disciplinary aesthetic education team wants to start from this perspective and let children have a deeper understanding of soil in addition to creating plant life.
