Taoyuan City Neili Junior High School─Daydream of the Red Chamber-x-Butterfly Dream-Classical literature and performing arts dance together

Reading education is a special course of our school. In the past, the drama education of the Drama Club (now renamed the Arts Club) gave teachers in the arts and literature fields opportunities for cross-field cooperation. Students who graduated from the drama club also told us that their two-year career in the drama club brought them different campus life and gave them a profound understanding of life. Therefore, we hope to inherit the successful experience in the past and make this curriculum plan combine school-based curriculum reading education and integrated teaching in the field of arts and literature, using the classic novel "A Dream of Red Mansions" and the folk tale "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" as Subject matter, students are led to re-read Dream of Red Mansions and Butterfly Lovers, and learn character, scene, and story analysis, and allow students to adapt literary texts from the story into scripts for micro-films and drama presentations.
Performing art teachers will lead students to conduct micro-film shooting and stage play presentation as two main axes, and design relevant topics: gender education issues, anti-gender bullying issues, campus sex education issues, life education on youth suicide and other issues to integrate, Let students connect and adapt the text. The music teacher then leads the students in selecting music for the micro-film and singing the theme song, and then leads the students into a professional recording studio for music recording. After the preliminary text work is completed, the filming will be carried out, and the club will be used to conduct micro-film shooting and stage play rehearsals. At the same time, the script will be created together with the partner school, Taoyuan City Liping Town High School Art Class, and the art class teacher and the planning teacher will work together to create the script. The school guides students in visual design (stage play set design), and uses newly created and adapted texts by students. The audio and video materials related to this project are all included in the script result book. Pingzhen High School students are invited to our school for study exchanges and student performances. Pingzhen High School students assist and jointly draw the stage play scenery, hoping to achieve cross-school alliance cooperation through exchanges between the two schools.
It is planned to invite teacher Ding Guanhao to come and provide teacher empowerment workshops and teach students micro-film shooting skills in the next semester. At the same time, teacher Ye Ziyan, the founding teacher of Fuxing High School’s drama class, was invited to lead students in drama performances to enhance their abilities. The project summary will be on April 14, 2011 (tentative), inviting Professor Lai Yiwei to come to guide the results, and invite the professor to give lectures, observe classes, and discuss classes together.
It is hoped that through reading, performing arts dramas and short films, visual arts and visual design, and music design, the executive team can once again conduct cross-disciplinary cooperation and integration, and once again use cross-field aesthetic experiences to lead students into the Dream of Red Mansions and Liangshan The classical aesthetic world of Bo and Zhu Yingtai.
