1. Our school is located between traditional residential buildings and new buildings in the redevelopment area, with fields and industrial areas nearby. There are a total of 8 Tudigong temples nearby. Every day when entering and leaving the school gate after classes, the traffic route passes by the Tudigong temple. What is the function of this small Tudigong temple? What is its connection with the lives of residents?
2. To help students understand Taiwan’s folk beliefs and get to know the God of Land from the perspectives of history, culture, religion, society, rituals of faith, and mythology, we designed a worship ceremony using puppetry called “Thank God Play” to express gratitude to heaven and earth, to have a deeper understanding and connection with local folk culture, and to respect and embrace diverse cultures, thus opening up a broader perspective.
3. Through on-site visits to the Tudigong Temple, making and performing glove puppets, students can deeply learn from an aesthetic perspective and integrate it into life experience, realize that beauty is everywhere, and thus enhance their appreciation of beauty.
