This semester's cross-field aesthetic education course continues the results of the school's cross-field action learning smart teaching course, taking STEAM courses as the core content to develop the "STEAM Art Up" themed course. A cross-disciplinary aesthetic teacher community composed of visual arts, music art subjects, nature, and information subjects has formulated the main curriculum axis for this semester. The design concept of the sixth-grade curriculum module "Leisure Vision" is as follows:
(1) Nature: Combined with the "Homemade Musical Instruments" unit on the sixth chapter, students will be guided to understand the principles of sound production and design musical instruments.
(2) Visual art: Continuing the learning content of the natural course, integrating international education and multicultural connotations, guiding students to appreciate the beauty of materials, patterns, colors, lines and other musical instruments from various countries through the "Beauty of World Musical Instruments" unit, and then through " The "Creative Instrument DIY" unit allows students to use their creativity to incorporate styles from various countries into creating their own musical instruments.
(3) Music: Introducing the characteristics and appreciation of music from various countries around the world, as well as digital arrangement teaching using the Garageband App, and using self-made musical instrument recordings from the visual arts class to create digital arrangements.
(4) Information technology: Incorporate the seesaw App into various subjects for learning process recording, and Kahoot and Quizziz for interactive assessment.
In addition, the fifth-grade "Art in Motion Miracle" course searches for external aesthetic education resources related to the course, and cooperates with the "Moving Art" exhibition at the Children's Art Center of the North American Pavilion to arrange for fifth-grade students to visit and participate in experience workshops, hoping to attract more students from our school Benefit from the promotion of this cross-disciplinary aesthetic education project.
