Taipei City Shuangyong Elementary School—Shuangyong Public Art Aesthetic Proposal

In 2022, Yongchun Elementary School and Yongji Elementary School will merge to form a new school - Shuangyong Elementary School. The original school buildings of the two schools will also be demolished and rebuilt. The construction of public art in the school is one of the important constructions of the new school building in the future. Through this opportunity, students have the opportunity to participate in the construction of public art. It is hoped that the public art of the new school building in the future can be completed with the ideas of students and artists. The concept developed in this course hopes that through public art, students can be stimulated to think about how to practice and participate in artistic creation in a larger social context; students can think and propose solutions from the perspective of others; challenge students through Collaborative learning and completing tasks together.
