Wenchang Elementary School in Yunlin County—Wenchang Good Sauce (mellow black bean flavor)

The fertile Zhuoshui River nourishes Xiluo Town in Yunlin County, making Xiluo an important producer of rice, black beans, fruits and vegetables in Taiwan. It also makes Xiluo’s soy sauce famous in Taiwan for hundreds of years.
From the Japanese colonial period to the present, Wenchang Elementary School, which has been established for 120 years, is close to Xiluo Bridge, the banks of Zhuoshui Creek, and is located on Xiluo Old Street. The teachers and students of Wenchang Elementary School shoulder the mission of passing on the cultural lifeline.
The black bean course at Wenchang Elementary School is a rare food and agriculture education course in Taiwan. From black bean planting to harvesting, exposure, brewing, processing into soy sauce, and finally integration with industry for packaging and marketing, it is a set of unique food courses. The agricultural course is filled with the aroma of soy sauce and strong local sentiments. Wenchang's good sauce is the pride of all the teachers and students of Wenchang Elementary School.
For such a wonderful story, we try to encourage children to use "picture books" to present it, so that children can use visual elements to develop creative ideas about black beans.
